Welcome to The Bodysurfer’s Guide to Life Website.
Within these web pages you’ll find a variety of ideas designed to inspire you in living a more joy-filled, creative life. In writing “The Bodysurfer’s Guide to Life,” and in sharing this site, it is my hope to raise the energetic level of the world to a higher, more positive level, one person at a time.
Please explore the different sand animations and postcards on the waves. If you like them, please share them with a friend. I only ask that you send them as they were created and that you do not edit them in any way. And please visit this page as often as you like. I will be adding new elements frequently.

Five Minutes For Peace
- This NEW sand animation takes the viewer on a five minute quest for peace where he or she will be exposed to over 75 ideas and thoughts about peace. It was designed to be experienced by your entire mind to help you find peace in the hectic pace of life. Please feel free to come back to it whenever you feel the need for a 5 minute escape to peace.
RECLAIM THE DREAM
- This sand animation was created to remind the viewer that it will take all of us to recover from the gulf oil spill. Click on the “Ways to Help The Gulf Cleanup Efforts” page to find links to different organizations that can use your help.
STEP INTO LIFE -
This sand animation invites the viewer to take a deep breath and rediscover the wonder of life. The music is one of my favorite pieces of music, Debussy’s “Claire de Lune”, and was recorded specifically for this video by my brother TJ Wollard. This features the message of the book “The Bodysurfer’s Guide to Life.”
THE JOURNEY OF THE SEA TURTLE
This sand animation takes the viewer on the journey of a sea turtle from hatching on a beach to her returning to the same beach to lay her eggs. It also features an original score, Turtle Suite, composed by TJ Wollard.
THE SEED
This sand animation follows the ability of a seed to not only survive, but thrive, in all kinds of conditions. It also features a short quote from “The Bodysurfer’s Guide to Life.” (And yes, the word written on the bag above the seed is “manure.”) You’ll understand once you watch the whole video.POSTCARDS ON THE WAVES
